Thunderbird is an opensource free e-mail client available for download from here. Follow these simple step-by-step instructions to configure Thunderbird to receive your Digital Crocus e-mail.

Select Account Settings from the Tools menu.

Add a new account.

Enter your name and e-mail address in the boxes provided.

Ensure you select IMAP server type and enter mail.digital-crocus.com as the server address.

Your username will either be your main account username or the mailbox name if you have created separate mailboxes via our control panel.

The account name can be whatever you like, here we've decided to accept the default and leave it as the e-mail address.

Your final list of settings should look something like this.

You will also need to set up our SMTP server for outgoing messages.

Insert the SMTP server details as above, entering the same username you used for configuring incoming e-mail.

Set your default mail server and confirm the changes by clicking OK.
This should be all you need to know to receive your e-mail in Thunderbird.
